About this item
- Artisan Craftsmanship: We curate beautiful, one-of-a-kind home decor items made by skilled artisans who use traditional techniques and natural, readily-available materials; Our extensive travels through Southeast Asia have allowed us to discover and bring to you stunning products from designers, artisans, and family-owned businesses. It is moderately lightweight (21 lbs) for a solid rattan stool, and yes, it is easy to carry, as it is compact in size (18" x 18" x 18") and designed to be moved and used as a flexible side table or extra seating in different rooms.
- Seating & Decor in One: Whether you need additional seating for your living room, a stylish accent for your bedroom decor, or a charming piece for your porch, this stool adapts to your needs with seamless ease; Embrace its dual functionality as both a practical seating option and a captivating decorative element, elevating the ambiance of any room in your home. It is not recommended for outdoor use, because the product is made from natural and poly rattan intended for indoor use only, and the listing explicitly states it should be kept indoors and cared for with dry cleaning methods, meaning exposure to rain, sun, or weather can damage it over time.
- Rattan Cleaning Tips: To clean your stool, mix warm water with a splash of dish soap and rinse clean; Use a microfiber cloth to clean; Dry the wet areas with a soft cloth and allow the rest to air dry. This stool is generally durable for long-term indoor use, because it is made from handcrafted natural rattan (plastic) is involved, over a sturdy frame, and the listing states it is strong, maintains its solid shape, and is designed for durability with proper indoor care, but its long-term lifespan depends on avoiding moisture, direct sunlight, and outdoor exposure, since it is intended for indoor use only.
- Dimensions: Decorative stool or side table with a diameter 18 inches and 18 inches high; Weighs 21 pounds and can hold 250 lbs. No assembly required. You can style it by using it as a statement accent piece in living rooms, bedrooms, sunrooms, or entryways, pairing it with neutral furniture, wooden or stone tables, linen textiles, and soft lighting to create a warm boho, coastal, or farmhouse aesthetic, and using it both as extra seating and a decorative side table that adds natural texture and handmade charm to the space, while it is best for people who want a versatile 2-in-1 stool and table for indoor spaces, especially those who like artisan rattan furniture that blends comfort.
- Empowering Women with Every Purchase: Every KOUBOO product you buy helps provide a livelihood for families and preserves century-old traditions; We also provide micro loans through KIVA to women in various industries, funded by our operating income and your support; Together, we can empower women, strengthen communities, and make a lasting impact. Compared to similar rattan stools, the KOUBOO La Jolla stool is very similar in its handwoven rattan construction, 18-inch round size, and dual use as seating, side table, but it stands out for its artisan craftsmanship, higher-end finish, and solid frame design that supports up to 250–300 lbs, while many similar stools may be more basic in design
