About this item
- Master-level Reverse-painted Glass Artistry: Each floral motif is hand-painted from behind the glass using a centuries-old colonial technique, layering pigments in careful sequence for vivid, long-lasting color that resists fading, chipping, or peeling
- Unesco Crafts Prize 1995 for Mirror-making: Edmundo Contreras received the UNESCO Crafts Prize in 1995 for his contribution to mirror-making and marquetry, and this piece comes from the Andean workshop he still leads, made by the hands he trained
- Versatile Accent for Any Wall Gallery Display: Hang this colorful floral diamond mirror alone or grouped with others for a curated gallery wall look; a thoughtful Christmas, hostess, or housewarming gift for collectors and hosts who love unique decor
- Size and Hanging Details Before You Buy: Frame measures 6 inches square or 8.26 inches point to point and the center mirror glass 2.24 inches across; two brass D-rings come fitted to the back, so at 0.44 pounds it hangs level on two nails, no drilling
- Export-grade Protective Packaging and Service: Each fragile glass piece ships in reinforced, drop-tested packaging with custom foam corner inserts to prevent transit damage; our dedicated support team is always happy to help with any order questions
