About this item
- Fireproof Welding Blanket/mat: The Waylander Carbon Felt Blanket is a flame-retardant, fireproof pad that withstands temperatures up to 1800°F (1000°C), offering top-tier protection against sparks, flames, and intense heat. Use it as a welding blanket, heat shield mat, or stove heat shield.
- Thick, Soft, and Non-irritating Fabric: Made from high-quality carbon felt without fiberglass, this fire retardant blanket provides a smooth, non-irritating surface. While it's designed for use as a heat shield or insulation mat, it is not intended to be worn or used directly on the body. Ideal for protecting surfaces and equipment during high-heat applications like welding and soldering.
- Easy to Customize and Cut: Need to fit it into tight spaces or unique applications? Simply trim the fire-resistant fabric to your exact specifications using scissors or a utility knife. Whether it's for insulating your smoker, grill, or as fireproof insulation for fireplaces or walls, this blanket adapts to your needs.
- Multi-purpose Fireproof Insulation: This flame-retardant pad (0.18" thick) is perfect for a wide range of uses, including as a welding blanket for grills, smokers, and stoves. Its lightweight, flexible nature makes it easy to wrap around grills, or use it as a thermal blanket for smoker insulation.
- Protect Against Extreme Heat: While competitors cap their fireproof materials at 1400°F, Waylander’s welding blanket offers heat resistance up to 1800°F, ensuring extra safety for you and your property. Ideal for welding, soldering, and heat protection for sensitive areas in your shop or home.
